1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or playing Sonarchy (the "Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Game. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developers of Sonarchy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the effective date of the most recent revision at the top of this document.
2. Description of the game
Sonarchy is a multiplayer music party game in which players select songs that match given categories and vote on the best matches. The Game is designed to be played on multiple devices, with one device acting as the primary audio source. Sonarchy uses YouTube's platform to stream music content.
The Game requires an internet connection and may require account creation to access all features. Certain functionality, including multiplayer sessions and audio playback, depends on third-party services that are outside our control.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Game. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Game, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
The Game is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to remove their information and restrict access.
4. User accounts
Some features of the Game may require you to create an account. You can sign in to Sonarchy using either an email address and password or by authenticating with a third-party provider such as Google. When you sign in with Google, your authentication is processed by Google and is also subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We receive only the limited profile information described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (or, where applicable, the security of any third-party account used to sign in)
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or are used for fraudulent purposes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Game only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent, hack, or exploit any part of the Game or its underlying infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Game
- Harass, abuse, or harm other players
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringing
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Game in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination without notice.
6. Third-party content and YouTube
Sonarchy uses the YouTube Data API to search for and play music. All audio content streamed through the Game is hosted and served by YouTube, LLC. By using the Game, you also agree to:

- Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
If you choose to sign in to Sonarchy using your Google account, that authentication flow is provided and processed by Google and is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy linked above.
We do not host, own, or control any of the music content available through the Game. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of any third-party content. Music content may be removed or become unavailable at any time due to YouTube policies or rights holder decisions.
7. Intellectual property
All original content within the Game — including but not limited to the game name, character designs (Casey, Walker, and others), visual assets, UI design, game mechanics, and written copy — is owned by or licensed to the developers of Sonarchy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Game content without express written permission.
8. Disclaimers
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
We do not guarantee the continuous availability of third-party services (including YouTube and Google) that the Game relies upon. We are not responsible for any loss of progress, game data, or enjoyment resulting from service interruptions.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Game shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the Game in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Game immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
