TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or playing Sonarchy (the "Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Game. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Treble Games Limited, a company registered in Ireland operating the game Sonarchy ("we", "us", or "our").

Our Privacy Policy (https://sonarchy.com/privacy) explains how we handle information when you play, and is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the effective date of the most recent revision at the top of this document.

2. Description of the game

Sonarchy is a multiplayer music party game in which players select songs that match given categories and vote on the best matches. The Game is designed to be played on multiple devices, with one device acting as the primary audio source. Sonarchy uses YouTube's platform to stream music content.

The Game requires an internet connection. No account is needed: you play under a display name you choose when you join a game. Certain functionality, including multiplayer sessions and audio playback, depends on third-party services that are outside our control.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Game. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Game, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

The Game is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to remove their information and restrict access.

4. Playing the game

Sonarchy does not use accounts. There is no sign-up and no sign-in: to play, you simply choose a display name when you join a game. Your display name is visible to the other players in that game, and guest game data is anonymised or deleted shortly after a game ends, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Game only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

6. Third-party content and YouTube

Sonarchy uses YouTube API Services to search for and play music. All audio content streamed through the Game is hosted and served by YouTube, LLC. Your use of the Game's music search and playback features is also subject to:

We do not host, own, or control any of the music content available through the Game. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of any third-party content. Music content may be removed or become unavailable at any time due to YouTube policies or rights holder decisions.

7. Purchases

The Sonarchy iOS app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase: a cosmetic character pack. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store, and payment is governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Purchases unlock cosmetic content only and confer no gameplay advantage. Entitlements are non-transferable, are tied to the Apple ID used for the purchase, and can be restored on that Apple ID from the app. Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have.

8. Intellectual property

All original content within the Game — including but not limited to the game name, character designs (Casey, Walker, and others), visual assets, UI design, game mechanics, and written copy — is owned by or licensed to Treble Games Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Game content without express written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We do not guarantee the continuous availability of third-party services (including YouTube and Google) that the Game relies upon. We are not responsible for any loss of progress, game data, or enjoyment resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Game shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the Game in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Game immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 8, 9, 10, and 12.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
